2. Rental Requirements
Age Restriction: All renters and operators must be 18 years of age or older.
Valid Driver’s License: A valid driver’s license is required for all rentals. You must present your physical license at the time of pickup. Joyride Rentals reserves the right to refuse a rental to anyone who fails to provide a valid license.
3. Rental Agreement These Terms and Conditions, along with the specific rental agreement you sign at the time of your reservation, constitute the entire agreement between you and Joyride Rentals. The rental agreement will detail the specific vehicle, rental period, fees, and any additional terms.
4. Pricing, Payment, and Deposits
Rental Fees: The rental price is based on the duration and type of vehicle selected. All fees are due at the time of reservation unless otherwise specified.
Security Deposit: A security deposit, which varies depending on the vehicle, will be held on your credit card at the time of rental. This deposit is held to cover any potential damages, late return fees, or other charges. The deposit will be released upon the vehicle’s safe and timely return in its original condition.
Taxes and Fees: All rental fees are subject to applicable taxes and other fees.
5. Rental Insurance Rental insurance is required for all rentals. You must purchase our specified rental insurance plan, which is designed to protect you against potential damages to the vehicle during your rental period. The details of the coverage will be outlined in your rental agreement.
6. Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellation Policy: You must provide at least a 48-hour notice for any cancellation to receive a full refund. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled rental time will not be eligible for a refund.
Inclement Weather: Refunds will be granted for cancellations due to inclement weather only. The determination of inclement weather is at the sole discretion of Joyride Rentals, based on safety concerns.
7. Use of Vehicles
User Responsibility: You are responsible for the proper and safe operation of the rental vehicle. You must comply with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
Prohibited Uses: The use of our vehicles for illegal activities, reckless operation, or on unauthorized trails or waterways is strictly prohibited. Joyride Rentals reserves the right to terminate the rental agreement and retain the security deposit if these terms are violated.
8. Liability and Indemnification You agree to assume all risks associated with the rental and operation of our vehicles. You will indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Joyride Rentals, its owners, and employees from any and all claims, damages, or liabilities arising from your use of the rental vehicle.
9. Dispute Resolution Any disputes arising from these Terms and Conditions or your rental will be governed by the laws of the State of Idaho. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Idaho for the resolution of any disputes.
10. Changes to Terms Joyride Rentals reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. We will post any changes on our website. Your continued use of our services after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
